Sister asset overhaul: Bunker
I was working lately on overhauling assetts that don't really fit with the other structures. One issue was the sisters bunker which didn't use the same pretty contruction scaffolds as the other buildings which is now fixed! My goal is to give every UA building this treatment so that they provide the same level of quality as the vanilla content in terms of build animations etc.

We've been reworking some already existing models lately in order to pretty them up and add additional gear and options to add to their versatility. My friend @[Kekoulis](members:kekoulis:3866477) was working lately on these new more tactical scouts with silenced bolters and other equipment to give them a more spec ops vibe plus make them more legit with their infiltration ability. We aim to make scouts also a viable option during mid to late game to cause some dismay swiftly and covertly. There's even more content waiting in the pipeline, all made by @[Kekoulis](members:kekoulis:3866477) so praise him, the modelling machine-man :D. Have a nice day! -Cosmocrat

Thanks to @[Kekoulis](members:kekoulis:3866477) we have now several old Sisters of Battle unit updated and overhauled with new equipment! As a little surprise, we decided to add Volkite weapons with custom Textures made by me and FX to the Sisters of Battle. Blazing Death Beams of Doom that burn their targets to a crisp simply fit their theme too well. However due to the rarity of these weapons, the access to these is limited. You can have like 2 volkites max per Squad.

Thanks again to @[Kekoulis](members:kekoulis:3866477) we now have a chapter independent Land Raider Maximus for the Space Marine faction armed with two twin linked grav cannons and one conversion beamer plus the driver mounted pintle gun. This and more toys are coming to v1.9!

Shard Carbine for Scourges and Trueborns
Thanks to @[Kekoulis](members:kekoulis:3866477) who helped me tremendously on this matter, both the scourges and the trueborn warriors of the dark eldar get the shard carbine as their starting weapon. This was a suggestion of one of our discord members in order to make the power gap between scourges and warriors smaller. Before scourges started with superior splinter cannons to upgrade into even more OP dark lances later on. Now they start with shard carbines which are merely better then the warrior guns to upgrade into either splinter cannons or dark lances. What do you guys think about it? -Cosmocrat

Scourge heat lance in action!
We did it again! This time we've added heat lances as replacements for the scourge dark lance. Heat lances have less range but pack more of a punch against structures and vehicles then the dark lance. We're thinking about moving the dark lances to Trueborn warriors along with giving them a dark matter blaster weapon option as well. What do you guys think? Please leave a comment! DoW2 Tyranid FX for UA
A little preview of some (not so) new fx being prepped for Tyranids. After extracting textures from Dawn of War 2, I've done my best to recreate the particles and projectiles from the game. So far this includes the Barbed Strangler explosion, projectile and the Devourer firing trail. I plan to make more later on that should also cover the Venom Cannon. Keep in mind that these haven't been fully implemented yet and may undergo some additional changes to suit DoW1.

With the help of @[Kekoulis](members:kekoulis:3866477) we've just planted another goodie into the Dark Eldar arsenal. This time it's the Dark Matter blaster which works similar to a rocket launcher, to add some anti vehicle punch to the warriors. Note that the team color pattern is WIP and will be subject of improvements. @[Eranthis](members:eranthis:3151465) is working on some custom FX and sounds for it to make it truly unique! Today I've fixed an issue with the Ork listening post that existed since the inception of the very first Dawn of War game and was never addressed till now. The Ork listening post now has proper build animations just like all the other buildings and no longer simply pops up. Have a nice day! -Cosmocrat

Thanks to @[Kekoulis](members:kekoulis:3866477), who again helped me tremendously, we've added the haywire blaster for scourges today as a tier 2 specialized anti vehicle gun, with little to no damage against infantry. We're currently trying to break up the vanilla no-brainer weapon choices, where going all dark lances was the one and only choice really. Make sure to leave a comment and have a nice day! -Cosmocrat

Dark Eldar Shredder

Dark Eldar Shredder
Once again @[Kekoulis](members:kekoulis:3866477) and @[Eranthis](members:eranthis:3151465) helped me tremendously getting another Dark Eldar goodie in-game. This time we've delivered the shredder to arm the Kabal Warriors and the Reaver Jetbike with this dark eldar equivalent of the Eldar monofilament gun. This gun together with the previously added ones shall help to break up the Dark Eldar gun progression and introduce new specializations and tactics. What do you guys think? Just as announced earlier, I've added plasma cannons to the heavy weapons entrencheable team as a Tier III weapon choice. I've changed their upgrade behavior to let you upgrade their weapons over the course of the game instead of being stuck with one weapon upgrade forever.
